I can't even begin to explain how messed-up I'm feelin' right now about the passin' of Mike Wieringo... Although I never met the Guy, it's hard not to feel some connection to someone whose Art You've followed, and studied for such a long time... I can only imagine how difficult it must be for His Family or those who knew and worked with Him... It's unfortunate, that it takes a Tragedy like this to put things back into Perspective...

Ben told me about this yesterday. It is so sad, sudden and shocking.
Ben's taking it really hard as well, he followed his work very closely.
Mike was an amazing talent, and he will be missed by a legion of fans. 44 is too damn young.
