Gonna be a little light on descriptions for this one, since my EyeLids are startin' feel Pretty Heavy right now...

This is a "Moldie-Oldie" Sketch of Stormy Cat... She was the "Cat-Girl" in a Old Story of mine... Not much to tell now, since She's gone through some Visual and Characteristic Changes since I Sketched this out... NEXT!!!


I was just tryin' out some "CardBored Art"... After I did it, it sat on Norm Dwyer's Desk for over a year... I asked if He would mind if took it home and Scanned it... Needless to say, Norm and Family have moved to Montana and I must find away to get it to Him... Sorry Norm...


I HATE It when I doddle somethin' out with a Word Balloon it, but I can't think of what to write in there... Oh well, I'll think of somethin', someday...


A Little Guy Character I Doodled-Up for a Mock Ad... I might still do It someday, We'll see...


Norm gave me a Japanese Accordian Moleskine SketchBook... I sat on that thing for 2 years without drawin' anythin' in it... I needed to think of a Creative Theme to follow... Turns out, that was a Dumb idea... So, at the TailEnd on 2006, I started to throw down a few lines "here and There"... And, I got this...

GAH!!! Febuary Post #3 was supposed to get put up last night, but I became preoccupied with Stella and Her Neediness... It's hard to resist Her and Her Puppy Powers... So, here We go...

I've got a couple of "Moldie-Oldies" in this post... First off, is a Dragon I designed back in 2000... It blows my mind that I drew every Scale on this baby... I still haven't found the other ones I did around the same time... They're much less detailed than this one...


"Moldie-Oldie" #2, is of a Character I did several years back for an Animation Group called CATNAP ((Chicago Area Toon Novices and Professionals))... It was started by Norm Dwyer, Kevin larson, and other Chicago based Animators... We had meetin's where We learned about Animation, Showed off whatever projects We were workin' on at the time, and had Guest Speakers within the Industry... The first group project was supposed to be an Animated Short featurin' a "CATNAPPER" ... This is the LiL Guy I turned in... The project never went anywhere, so I stopped goin' to the meetin's...


Just a Grafitti Doodle that got Colored... I still like the colorin' and the letters, but I wish I woulda' paid more attention to that Generic-Ass Character...

"Febuary Post # 2"...

A few blogs ago, I posted a page of this Guy... This was one that manage to Sneak passed that post... He's Trouble alright...


I HATE It when I get Art Block... It used to be much worse when I was Younger... When You don't know "WHY" all of the sudden You can't draw anythin'... "WHY" all of the sudden everythin' You put to paper looks like you drew it with Your ButtCheeks... After awhile, one does figure out the little things they can do to get past it... Me, I just have to draw all the "CRAP" outta' my system... This was how I felt for a couple of days last week...


This is the first Cuco! Sketch-A-Roni in a New SketchBook I picked up at Dick Blick's Art Supply a couple of weeks ago... I think it came from hearin' about all the Drama goin' on in BaseBall... I don't follow sports, but I do follow the News... Some of the Sports Stuff must've leaked into my subconcious, and CUCO'ed it's way into my Sketch-A-Roni here... Weird, huh???


I had a Dream about these Animated Clowns (( THANK YOU WEEDAGE!!! ))... These 2 were the only ones I could remember the next day... I LOVE to watch someone who know's how to Juggle, unless they are usin' knives... I always see it goin' wrong, and that person losin' a Finger or Three...


This Clown grabs Bombs outta' his pants and wreaks Havoc everywhere, like most guys I guess...


Seven more to go my Rices... I hope I can keep it goin'...

Damn... Febuary, has been the Crappiest Month of Postin's so far... So let Me kick this off with a New Book Shout Out to Rafael Nieves...

First is "Maneaters" in WideVision Format... Which is a Large Art Spread running across two pages of Text, written by His Raffiness...


Next is "The Phantom Annual 1: 5 Days of the Dragon"... Which has Rafael and a slew of other Talented Writers and Artists... Go out to the nearest Comic Shop and get them...


Here We have some Character Sketches and Color Studies of a Comic Idea Rafael and I had... This goes back to a Doodle of a Teddy Bear Skin that had become inhabited by an Alien that I did a few years back... Raf saw it and created a Sweet Print along with an idea for a story... So, I thought I'd post'em here... We have "It", It's BestFriend "Naomi" and her brother "Omar"...


I was just tryin' to lockdown the look and feel while figurin' out a color palette with this "It" & "Naomi" Color Study...


Workin' out some of "It's" body language...


I suppose I have 8 more days of postin' for this month not too SUCK, entirely... Scanner, don't fail me now...

Hey Folks,

Just wanted to give a Birthday Shout Out to Best Bud Rafael Nieves today... Yeah I know it's kinda' late in the day to be puttin' that in the Blog, but I couldn't "Not" do it... I Hope You had a Great Day Pa'...

Now some Sketch-A-Roni's... These first Two are from that Mahjong Game that died... It was decided early on that the Otter probably wasn't gonna make the cut, but I liked the Sketch...


Here's Three of the Six Designs for the Dhole... I would have to say this version of the Design is my Favorite... However, it does lack the "FoxLike" features of the Dhole... But it's cute and I Like it...


I started this SketchPage Doodlin' some Faces, but I was hatin' how they were comin' out pretty quickly... I almost tore out the page, but I thought I'd just fill in the rest of the page "Not" with faces... It started out with the 3 at the Center Bottom... I just got Hooked on a "Ghost" fix for a few minutes... I went til it stopped bein Fun...


Who knows ??? Maybe the Ghosties will return someday... You just never know When or Where They'll pop up...


This is another Little T-Shirt Sketch Design I came up with to be a "Bad*Day" T-Shirt Character... I named it after the "Mood" and my old cat "Stormy"... I Miss that Cat...

Happy Wednesday Night...

Sorry I've been slackin' on posts... I've been Sick with a Cold for the last week... And just plain LAZY the rest of it... So, My Apologies for the Lull in Content... I hope You all came lookin' for some Sketch-A-Doodles... Cuz' I have in fact posted some... Some recent, and one that my Friend Steve still has from Kelvyn park High School... Yep, this sketch is 20 years old, and I HATE it... I look at it and wonder why anyone Liked my art... I digress, this was an assignment to Draw up our version of, You Guessed It, "Peer Pressure"... I could go back in time and SLAP myself, if Time Travel were in Fact an Option... But it's not, so onto the "Moldie-Oldie"...


This would be the next oldest... I did this Stoopid PhotoShop Experiment on a picture of Me with my Goggles on, and Dubbed it Howler MonkeyMan... I sent it to my Friend Johnny, and He did His own version of it too... If I find it, I'll post both of them later... Anywho, I Doodled-Up a Character Sketch of Howler MonkeyMan and His SideKick Magoo... And this is it... I guess I owe You the 5 Seconds You wasted readin' all this for a Stoopid Sketch... NEXT!!!

I guess those LiL Bastards from the Previous Post were right, I do leave more Space on a Page than I should... I'll fill it in with some more Warm-Ups...


Every once in awhile, I just doodle a bunch of Faces on a Page... No real reason, I just do it... I try not to spend more than a minute or two on each person... Just to keep fresh...


WHAT!?! It's my Nose... I'll shove Rabid Guinea Pigs up in there if I choose too... It's not the finger in the nose that's Gross... It's the Germ-Infested Boogie that's attached to said Finger, that starts the ChunderFest that's the Kicker...


Remember when Don Knotts used to do His "Karate-Chop" Fists on "Three's Company"??? That always made me laugh... I was really Sad when He passed this last year... Comedic Actors like Him just don't exist anymore... I think I'll order "The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" and "The Incredible Mr. Limpet " on NETFLIX... I still enjoy those Old Films... They were so much FUN... I miss FUN Films... Good-Bye Don...

Oooh, Late Nite Postin'...

First off, I'd like to let everyone in Vegas know that my Friend Gina Robinson will be attendin' an Art Show in DownTown Las Vegas on Friday ((Tonite)) between 6pm and 10pm... It's gonna be on the corner of Charleston and Main St. ... She'll be at the Street Fair which'll be South of the Art Factory, around the FunkHouse... I couldn't get any pics of Her Paintin's, so I'm postin' a pic of my Pal Gina, so You'll know who to look for... Very Cool Paintin's, even Cooler Person...


A Moldie-Oldie Sketch Page... This one's from last year, when I was poundin' out loads of Sketches for my Barabrian Story... These are a few of many background characters... I pretty sure I posted the Wrestlin' lookin' guy before, but not the other guys...


The next couple of Sketches, are from a Long Nite of Adult Swim Shows I was watchin'... ATHF cracks me up...


And then there's Stroker and Hoop... Another Hilarious show on Adult Swim... If You haven't seen an episode of it yet, check out the one where Ron Howard telepathically controls the guys into some Heinous situations they'll not soon forget...

HAPPY NEW YEARS !!! 2007 is here and it should be a Great New Year... Just a quick post to start it off right... So, here We go...

First off, Jen and I got a Puggle Puppy for Christmas... Her name is Stella Elizabeth Maldonado... Yeah, I know it sounds Cheesy, but Tough Shit... Here She is in all Her Glory...


This here is a Caricature Pin-Up I did for Mi Amigo Rafael Nieves' Re-Release of His and Juan Gomez's "The Bells"... It'll be Chock Full of All Kinds of Goodness... But, more news about that later...


Just some Character Designin' of my own... I was playin' around with Urban Type of Warriors... Warriors who still carry their Metal with Them... I might still mess around with the this guy some, and throw some color on Him later... We'll see...
