It all started when Mi Hermano Rafael Nieves told me that after 3 years, Ed would need a new Cartoonist to take over the strip after Previous Cartoonist Max Velati moves on... "Febuary Post # 2"...

A few blogs ago, I posted a page of this Guy... This was one that manage to Sneak passed that post... He's Trouble alright...


I HATE It when I get Art Block... It used to be much worse when I was Younger... When You don't know "WHY" all of the sudden You can't draw anythin'... "WHY" all of the sudden everythin' You put to paper looks like you drew it with Your ButtCheeks... After awhile, one does figure out the little things they can do to get past it... Me, I just have to draw all the "CRAP" outta' my system... This was how I felt for a couple of days last week...


This is the first Cuco! Sketch-A-Roni in a New SketchBook I picked up at Dick Blick's Art Supply a couple of weeks ago... I think it came from hearin' about all the Drama goin' on in BaseBall... I don't follow sports, but I do follow the News... Some of the Sports Stuff must've leaked into my subconcious, and CUCO'ed it's way into my Sketch-A-Roni here... Weird, huh???


I had a Dream about these Animated Clowns (( THANK YOU WEEDAGE!!! ))... These 2 were the only ones I could remember the next day... I LOVE to watch someone who know's how to Juggle, unless they are usin' knives... I always see it goin' wrong, and that person losin' a Finger or Three...


This Clown grabs Bombs outta' his pants and wreaks Havoc everywhere, like most guys I guess...


Seven more to go my Rices... I hope I can keep it goin'...

Here's some more Sketches to keep the Blood flowin' in this here Blog...

I love playin' around with my markers... To throw some color onto my doodies, helps bring whoever is lookin' at them a little closer to what I was thinkin' or feelin' when I did them... Well, at least that's what I think happens...



What can I say ??? Post-Its, are fun to draw on... They're so disposable, that if I screw one up, "Who Gives a Shit" ??? But if they're good, and I like'm, I stick'em onto page in my sketchbook...



By the way, if you haven't noticed, the real "Lonely Rice" is lurkin' about in this post of Sketches... Keep an eye out for him... he like's to poke his little melon into everything... And, well, it's his Blog...
