"Blasto from El Pasto 2: Los Caballeros...

This Suave and Debonair Gentleman is my Gramps, the Patriarch of the Rivera Family... As cool as superheros and moviestars can be, this man is above all, my Hero... A huge influence on the man I am today... Thanks abuelo...



This my first cousin Ricardo... Back durin' a time when we saw alot of each other, and unfortunately wore matchin' sunvisors... Ricky always had a big ol' smile for the camera...



Again, not an oldie, but the only pic of my little cousin Alexis I have... He is Nicole's dad and quite the character... I look forward to goin' back to Puerto Rico to spend some time with my family, and come back with new pics to share...



Last, but certainly not least, is moi... It is my belief that I just woke up... I mean, look at those sleepy eyes, and that, hair... Ah yes, the hair... I think the next time I post pics, I shall share the history of my "Big Hair"... Prepared to be HORRIFIED...

This Ravishin' lady is my Grandmother, the matriarch of our small clan... I'm not sure who the kid is, but this is my favorite picture of my Grandmother from way back in the day... Muy caliente...




Here we have my Momz... She was such an adorable kid, and if you know my Mom, this pic is so her... A classic beauty at such an early age...



This LiL one is my TiTi Olga... Who looks as if she's auditionin' for the "Little Rascals" in this pic... She would totally have kicked Butch's ass...



While this one is not an "Oldie", it is my cousin's Amazin' Daughter, Nicole... It's so hard not to gush over such a cutie... But c'mon, look at her... She's smart, personable, and on her way to bein' Puerto Rico's greatest import... Watch out world...

I missed the deadline for the Ten Ton Studios Sketch Challenge... The challenge was to come up with a piece with the character Nixon from Frank Miller's "HardBoiled"... But on a positive note, Steev Wilhite the cartoonist I told you about in my previous post WON... Good on you Steev, but next time, victory will be mine... Anywho, I got to do a piece of art I might not have done otherwise... So, I'll post it here, and share it with you guys...

Hey there, Hi there, Ho there...

Another post for you loyal fans... This one is a cover and promo piece for a project called "Inspector 12" that I did... It's an idea my Best Friend and Partner in everything HYPERTHETICAL", Rafael Nieves ( Check the Links for his Blog folks... The man has loads of things goin' on), posed as a question to me... "Who's that Inspector 12 that keeps leavin' those Damn stickers on eveyrthin' ??? " So we decided it was an excellent opportunity for us to explore a new character, why he does what he does, and the adventures that befall him... So, Raf was constructin' the story, and I was developin' his look... But, considerin' the amount of work we were both doin', we needed someone talented to handle the art chores for the story... Then Lo' and Behold, Raf hands me a link to some art by this guy Steev Wilhite ( Check his Blog out too, Boy O' Boy, can this dude draw)... After some courtin' and one Helluva an armwrestlin' contest, Steev signed on and has turned in some great art and fun storytellin'... Once we've got this baby wrapped up, we will unleash him on the World... ~Whew~ Havin' said all that here's that preview piece of Inpector 12... Enjoy...

Aaawww Crap!!! Lookee-Here, another post in less than a week... Actually, it shouldn't be that hard, since I've got a buncha' old Sketch-A-Doodles already scanned... So here's some of them...

This character came from messin' around with a jelly bean shaped template from "Jelly Belly"... I thought the shape was perfect for some kind of helmet... As it came along, I decided that it would be the coolest set of headphones, ever... What do you think ???


A few of my CUCO children... But, I particularly liked the Chicken one... Mmmm, chicken...


Every family has the "Whussy" member they love to mess with, this is that member...


Not really sure where this one came from... All I know, is that I had to figure out what he was doin' with that raised paw... So I figured that he was tossin' a snack into his muzzle... And well, doesn't he look like he would eat shrunken heads ??? well, I thought so...

G'Day Maties,

Three more "Post-It Doodies" to show... What can I say ??? I love doodlin' on the LiL Buggers... Not to mention, I really want to try to keep this "SketchBlog" rich with as many New Doodles and BrainFarts as I can... "BrainFarts ??? Whatever does he mean by that", you ask... Well, I'll tell you... I hope to enrich the 45 seconds you spend here, with my sketches, thoughts on movies, music, comics, and the occasional "WEIRD" thing I find...

Here's one of the many "CUCOS" that lives in my brain... Not sure what it's name is, but it looks kinda' snooty doesn't it ???


This one actually started as an excercise... So I can try to incorporate color pencils into my marker studies again... I always felt, that they helped add more depth and texture to a doodle...


And this here is "Zilch"... He's the drummer for one my BrainChildren, The "Zomboyz"... For some reason, Zilch is my favorite to draw... Maybe, the next set of Post-It's will have the rest of the band... As it stands right now, my Best Bud and Partner in MultiMedia Crime ((Rafael Nieves: Check out his blog in the links section... The man is Brilliant with a capital "B")), has asked me to put together a short story with them to add to a much bigger story he's writin', and I'll be drawin'...

Mo' Sketches, Mo' Sketches, Mo' Sketches...

I thought I'd give you folks a break from my ugly mug, and post some sketches... So, heeeerrrre you go...

This one's right out of the Ol' sketchbook... Just tryin' to work out ideas for some scenes...With this one, I was tryin' to figure out how to cram as much action and drama into one piece... This might actually see fruition someday...


Just a small piece of bristol board I had lyin' around... So, I thought I'd doodle on it... I liked it enough to throw some marker colors on it... Might end up in one of my Sketchbooks, "CUCOS!"... My first venture into havin' a sketchbook ( Thanks Raf )... Which will soon be available on the http://hyperthetical.biz/ site... An added incentive for pickin' up this little piece of cartoony goodness... At least that's what I hope...

Tony here with the same ol' Conundrum that always plagues me this time of year... What to wear for the best holiday ever, Halloween... So, I thought I'd post a few of my options, and see what you guys thought...

Aaaawww Yeah... El Dragon... Fuego muy GRANDE !!! I really like this one, cuz' I think it represents the raw, Godlike powers that a Dragon is known for... But, maybe it's a little too intense... Let's move on...


LiL DIABLO !!! Mas Fuego GRANDE !!! Any one who knows me will tell you, that any of these would be perfect for, well, ME... Yet, either of these could force me into a relapse of my Devlish past... Hmmm... Not sure that's a good idea... NEXT!!!






Hold on now... I think we're on to something here... Skunks are cute, and cuddly... C'Mon!!! PePe LePew is totally H-O-T !!! And the power that we both possess in our Booties... Watch Out Now !!!

Man, I wish I woulda' had one of these as a kid... So, I relive my childhood vicariously through my camera and Photoshop...

I love playin' around with my markers... To throw some color onto my doodies, helps bring whoever is lookin' at them a little closer to what I was thinkin' or feelin' when I did them... Well, at least that's what I think happens...



What can I say ??? Post-Its, are fun to draw on... They're so disposable, that if I screw one up, "Who Gives a Shit" ??? But if they're good, and I like'm, I stick'em onto page in my sketchbook...
